Silverstone saw positives and negatives for the Emotional Engineering’s racing department. It was a calm 4 days, that meant we where getting on top of preventative maintenance, however we still need to work on the technical process.

Believe it or not, we did achieve almost all of our goals in 2005. To prove a Vauxhall Monaro in FIA spec could be competitive, to prove the car has pace and to get on the podium, which we did at the FIA GT Magny-Cours round in May, 1st G2.

The Monday morning after the last race of the year always fills me with great enthusiasm. It gives us the chance to potentially finish the job we started and nothing would give me and the EE team more pleasure than to see the Monaro at the sharp end of the grid or consistently on the podium.

We have a winter development plan and are also trying to create a technical partnership with a very successful touring car team. I am sure it will happen and be fruitful, as we all have the same goal.

We are also working on the driver line-up, team presentation and it looks like we will have a new sponsorship name on the car for 2006.

I apologies to those who wanted more updates from us throughout the year. I promise to release more updates through winter anon and make your cold winter nights a more informed one!

And finally, a big thank you to those who supported us through the highs and lows that was 2005. Thanks to Cummins, Vauxhall, Valvoline Oils and the barmy army, commonly known as the Monaro & HSV owners club.

only just read this one, quite timely as Mrs. Ace came in with a magazine that had a write of ivan Muller testing in this very car. All impressive stuff. The car looked great and Mr. Mullers comments were positive. Many thanks for taking the time to write it up chappie. Can you keep us posted with your off-season developments? Do you run the car during the winter at all? I only ask because i'd love to come see it running (i'm sure I'm not the only one either)...

Yeah, the test with CAR Mag and Muller was great fun! He is a truely talented driver and a nice bloke, I wish we could afford him for our program (Oh yeah and have a fully developed car for him to drive)!!!

Allen, thanks for taking the time & keeping us up to date on things at E-E.

Thanks for the invites we have had this year to see the car in action, love it !

As you may know I head off back home to Aussie in December, but I will keep an eye on how things are going with the car.

All the best for 2006, been great to have meet you and the E-E gang,

Regards,
Rob Apsey.

P.s, You may not want to annouce it yet, but will we be seeing Dodo Racing or Harrop on the side of the Monaro in 2006 ?
