Golf gti spare wheel

I'm giving some thought to buying a 10 year old Golf gti.
I've had several punctures that have involved potholes and torn tyres so they can't be fixed with a can of goo.
I really want a car that comes with a spare wheel even if it's a space saver, so, does a gti have a spare?

Yes the Mk7s should come with a spare wheel. If its missing there is the space to fit one. A generic VW/Audi/Skoda 18" spare is what is needed.

I've not seen a MK7 GTI without a space saver fitted & I looked at quite a few before I purchase mine. If you have the boot floor in the upper position you could have a full sized spare if you wanted.
