Owner experiences of Power 15 on Eurotrip

I'm off for our usual Eurotrip soon.
For the 1st time in ages I am taking a car young enough to have a Ferrari Power 15 warranty!
Any owner's on here who have needed to use it in earnest? We'll be in Northern Spain and South of France.
I usually add a 14 day euro cover to my AA membership. Is it worth having both?

Depends on your requirements, power 15 gets your car taken to the nearest dealer for repair, AA gets it brought back to the uk For the 1st time in ages I am taking a car young enough to have a Ferrari Power 15 warranty!

I’ve had to use power15 breakdown in Italy - last year. It worked, but it was a bit painful. Luckily I was staying in one place for a while - the car was taken away but took 4 days to get delivered to the dealer who was only about 100 miles away. It was fixed under warranty and I was provided with a hire car for a while.
Sorry bit of a lengthy post!
In June last year on Deadman’s Col in the middle of France in the FF I hit a small rock with the front right tearing the tyre wall. It was a Sunday around midday, the number in the documentation was apparently only for medical emergencies but they put me through to somebody who told me they didn’t do Ferrari assistance anymore, eventually I found an 0800 number called it and it turned out to be RAC premium service. They were pretty good and organised recovery which arrived within about 90 mins however they took the car to a scrapyard in the middle of nowhere!. Turns out the Monday was a Bank Holiday in France so nothing was going to happen with the car.
They organised and paid for a taxi to take us to our hotel 2.5 hours away in the Gorge du Verdon, it cost them around €500.
Our onward trip was to the Italian lakes and they couldn’t organise a hire car as apparently we couldn’t take it from France to Italy so they
organised basic train tickets from Nice to Milan for the Monday but wouldn’t organise or pay for the taxi (2 hours and €450) to take us to Nice
We then had to organise another train to nr the Lakes and despite repeated attempts no hire car was forthcoming, on the Tuesday they eventually organised one the otherside of Milan but wouldn’t cover costs to go and get it, in the end we borrowed a car from our Italian friend
It was always the intention to leave the FF with my Italian friend and fly back on the Thursday, we did that but the car was in a scrapyard 2 hrs north of Marseilles ( I did ask for it to be moved to appropriate storage which they said they would but didn’t) and the dealer wouldn’t take the car until I committed to a collection date. In the end the car was not moved until the following Monday and I flew out early Tuesday, collected it from Marseilles, drove to nr Milan to leave it as planned and flew back from Malpensa Wednesday AM all at my own expense.
I tried to get confirmation of coverage limits for taxis etc but neither my dealer or I could find it anywhere
