Hose lock expandable hoses

Just got one of these. Using a standard hose water pressure is good and a standard plastic hose end delivers a good pressure of water on a 25m standard plastic hose.
The expandable hose working off the same outside tape delivers a dribble of water. It’s almost as though the end connections are preventing any water pressure. Has anyone else found the expandable hose delivers a poor pressure of water.
The hose is a 30m hoselock type and has the water stop connections at each end, all straight out of the box.

A normal hose has a smooth bore inside. I suspect the inside of an 'expandable' hose is corrugated - creating turbulence which spoils the flow rate.
That said, the 'water stop' widgets will wreck the flow too, so pull them out.

Never had this issue with mine. Maybe something stick in your hoselock valves? Bit of grit?The expandable hose working off the same outside tape delivers a dribble of water. Mine failed with the inner sheath detached from the connector.
