more 320i questions - adaptive suspension - tyre sizes

I see quite a few 3 series for sale with adaptive suspension. Are the settings manually controlled and does AS make much difference to the ride comfort , especially as the tyres seem to be very low profile on the M Sport?

Second question is about tyres. I did a check on Blackcircles website and it came up with different sizes front and rear i.e. lower 35 profile on the rear tyres. This can't be right can it?

Adaptive suspension is changed with a button on the central switch pack next to the gear selector - from memory, Sport is very firm, comfort is best of both worlds etc

And re tyres; that's correct - BMWs come with staggered wheels, wider at the back. As an example 18x8 fronts, 18x9 rears - tyres could be 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear etc

For our F31 i've stuck with OE BMW Style 397s which are 18x8 all round; and run 235/45/18 tyres all round - drives and handles brilliantly, more so on non run-flat tyres
