Hi,

I want to replace the light unit in my bathroom but it is very close to the shower cubicle.

The ceiling is around 235cm high. Will I need to get something rated to IP67?

It looks borderline zone 2 to me.

I don't know what the existing light unit is rated to.

Thanks.

Never mind need to, just get something IP67 rather than fiddling around edges of zones.

Id like to get something IP67, but they all seem to be limited to spot lights in the ceiling?

Can you get something 12V with a transformer above the ceiling?

I don't think you need IP67 anyway? Isn't that immersion to two metres or zummat?

A higher IP rating won't hurt of course.

What look are you seeking? I guess not a steampunk retro ship's bulkhead fitting?

I just want something similar. We are planning a re do of the ensuite soon.

Could possibly get access from above by taking up the floor boards.

IP 67 is pretty serious.

Dust proof & water immersion up to 1m for 30 min IIRC, are you planning to invert the whole bathroom?
