Evening all,

The time has come to replace my Insignia with something more modern. Having changed jobs, I no longer need a big diesel.

Criteria are as follows;

Must Haves -
Petrol
2016 or newer
Decent economy
Ideally under 70k miles.

Ideally -
Android Auto,
Heated Seats

I keep coming back to the Fiesta ST-Line 1.0 Ecoboost. You can easily get a MK8 with a new Wet Belt for that amount, but surely there must be more out there?

Much appreciated!

FWIW I'd avoid that engine unless you have absolute certainty about service records. Or a bombproof warranty.

Daughter has the 1.0 vignale , leather heated seats , steering wheel , panoramic roof , up graded stereo etc , a big upgrade to the st line , not sure if you can get one for 7 k though , had no issue with it other than the polished wheels have turned grey as you can see , I’m having them refurbed in silver , car has been 100% reliable , now 7 yrs old

Have you considered a Mazda 2 ?
I like the Fiesta , we have a 2010 but I'd be put off by the wet belt .

Your budget would get you a 1.5 GT Sport.

I've drive these and they are a really nice drive .
I've done 100000 miles in petrol Mazda 3s and the are very reliable .

We have a 2018 Fiesta as a second car but the lower powered 1.1 engine due to training the kids on it.

Totally reliable, handles very well. Great city car and no issues with longer journeys either, even 4/5 up.

With a free rain on insurance I’d have loved an ST or a MINI but given that they all handle so well I really don’t miss the power.
