BBC News - Four women accuse Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct when they were teenagers - BBC News
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cd7lg2nz2x2o

Only showing up on BBC so far. 4 women accusing him of sexual business while they were teenagers/under age.

If these are true and apart from any charges or sentence he gets 'cancelled', he's been in some big films. I haven't liked him in any of them, and I've dodged watching films because he's in them (Morbius, Tron: Ares), except for Fight Club where he gets the st kicked out of him.

I'm still not sure about outing these people in the press before charges and a trial? One one hand it does mean that other victims can feel they can come forward but on the other hand, he now becomes pretty unemployable.

I'm guessing that his bands tour may well now be cancelled as well as any future films. Mind you, looking at IMDB he's only really got one film upcoming so maybe the unemployable thing has started to kick in?

Because it's an advert for a documentary on the BBC. The accusations were made public over a year ago and go back 20 years.

Slightly off topic, but I recently discovered that he gets a role in a film by buying it through his "production" company. He'll help fund the film, but only if he can get a part in it. Unfortunately, he's cursed, and any film he's in (apart from Fight Club) turns to dog st.

He looks like Russell Brand. In view of that, I vote GUILTY!

I suspect NPE is not where you come to find fans of Masters of the Universe Sway. Having said that, considering some of the absolute queens we have in here - maybe it should be?

I also agree with you on the film and JL as Skeletor - oh balls!

Well if he's been accused then I think we can safely say he is 100% guilty with no need for any trial, save money there. Straight to sentencing, or publicly ruin then sentencing later?

I thought he was brilliant in Bladerunner 2049; great performance.

Where there is smoke etc...

but the BBC documentary "Jared Leto - Hollywood's dark secret" is a bit much as a title given he hasn't been found guilty of anything 'yet'....

I think there are certain roles he is well suited for.

He's 54 and has been in films for 30 years, and a well known rock band for 28. It's totally possible you haven't linked his name to his face, but if you've not heard of him, I can't honestly believe it's because you're 'getting old'.

Exactly- I’m 63 and very aware of who he is. Then again, I love the cinema so that may be the reason.

I am 47 and have never seen or heard of him, I can’t be the only one who thought J Leno when first seeing the headline pop up.
