Anyone used them recently? How did it go?

Not used them but know Michael Field and he’s a top guy.

Very knowledgable and happy to advise on lots of things.

You will need to make sure you have the minimum working area available, as mentioned on the website.

Have used the HWM mobile service for my last few services on my DB9, both Michael and David the techs are excellent and I couldnt recommend them highly enough.

What I find of benefit is to able to talk to them and pick their brains about the car.

You can also provide your own oil which brings the price down and covers the call out fee

Thanks all. In the end I chose Nicholas Mee - a bit more expensive and some miles on the clock but I've used them before, and there's a limit to what you can do in a layby.

I think you’ll find you can do quite a lot in a layby……

On a serious note, I’ve heard nothing but good things about them.

I realise the OP has now made a move, but I can vouch for HWM’s Flying Tech. I used them a couple of years ago and it was a perfect service.

But I enjoy taking the car to HWM in Walton-on-Thames or AM Bristol, drop it off and go for a wonder, so I wouldn’t use the Flying Tech all the time.
