wildly varying Fuelly charts

I'm a stats geek, so I keep a record of my mpg - no particular reason, other than liking to know. It doesn't make me drive any slower or faster and it doesn't make me think twice about going somewhere, but I just like the geekiness.

Prompted by the sudden 8% improvement in the fuel consumption of 47P2's Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner Jack Barclay Edition, I got thinking about how widely fuel consumption varies.

On my trusty old Alfa GT diesel, the consumption was generally between 45 and 50mpg, although it wobbled quite a lot after I stopped commuting 80 miles a day in early 2019:



However, on the mid-life crisis car, the consumption can best be described as 'variable'...



So - are there many other Fuelly users? If so, post up your 'all time' Fuelly graphs - lets see the variety. I'm expecting to see 65+ for some, and low teens for others....

Only really have one that covers multiple years, and I stopped tracking them once I wasn't claiming expenses.



Top averages are for commuting or normal driving, the troughs are for trackdays.

My A3 2.0 TDI that I've had for 10 years + now. Obviously with the move towards WFH since the pandemic my mileage has fallen off of a cliff in a good way.

I only started doing this earlier this year.
1st one is my 730d (40.2 mpg), 2nd is the wifes mini cooper (34.8 mpg), missed a couple of fill ups on hers.
