I have a used Rakeway axle set for Ital and need some questions answered please.
Q #1, one of the hubs has some shake between the outter and inner bearing/flanges. The other hub does not. Is this a situation that needs to be corrected before use?
Q #2, on one half shaft, there is a round collar that sets against the shoulder stop on the hub end of the shaft. The inner hub bearing seats against this collar and centralizes it. The collar appears to be a bearing race. No bearings came with the assembly as sent to me, that fit in this space, and there is very little space for bearings. Are bearings supposed to be there? Also, one of the collars on one shaft is loose and the other on the other shaft is tight on the shaft, but about 1mm short from contacting the shaft shoulder. Are these problems?
