I've never been as the drive there from mine and the flat looking car park never appealed. I have to say it never looked very busy in the photos.

I'm a regular down The Hut as it only 30 mins from me and the B road drive is ace. While not as busy as The Hill it does have a good buzz about the place and there's a good bunch of regulars.

Today I learned they had 3 locations. I always thought it was just one - The Hill with the large mural.

Has The Bowl been operating as C&M for long?

Since Sept 2022 from memory.
I only live 10 mins away. It s never had the effort put into it like The Hill. Shame really.
Just think it was bought to be a bit of a cash cow and add to the portfolio.

Main letdown was the car park. Way too dusty for the summer.

Incorrect, they purchased the pub in 2023. So either selling to lease back and raise cash or looking to sell outright.

"This brings us neatly to The Bowl, Caffeine & Machine’s new venture. “The former operations director of Red Bull Formula 1 (Rob Higdon) used to drive past the location every day,” Phil explains. “I got a WhatsApp message from him one afternoon, saying we gotta buy this place.” That was coming on for three years ago, and the team instantly fell in love with the place, and had got close to finalising a deal before the then owners changed their mind. Post-Covid, however, they changed their mind again. “We jumped on it as soon as we possibly could, because it felt right.” "

I've seen Phil's post now so I stand corrected. The advert is badly worded!

Removed by agent now on Rightmove.

Hopefully it sticks around but maybe should reflect on the feedback from people on the venue.

Seeing as it’s leased, I wonder if there are restrictions on what they can do with land. There’s loads of it to do something a bit more interesting
