DB11 - Reduced Engine Performance

I m getting this message which I suspect is related to exhaust valves given info that can be found. Having said that, I can press the Sports+ button and hear the exhaust note change and the car will go over 3000RPM albeit without any great gusto. No other problem lights, just this message. Is it likely to be the valves? Any other symptoms I could check for?

I had problems with the valves, but there was no message about a loss of power. Only the engine stopped spinning above 3200 rpm, and on Sport+ too. You need to read the error codes.

It’s most likely seized bypass valves in the muffler. It’s a temporary fix but really you most likely need a new muffler, usually is the issue anyway. But yeah best to read fault codes just in case it’s something else.

IF it is the notorious exhaust valves which are defect, then it might be worth contacting Aston Workshop as they recently announced to have developed an inhouse solution to replace the valves only instead of spending the huge cost for a complete new exhaust muffler.
