Friction wheel loom connection
Discussion
I need to change the friction wheel on my R56 at some point. Last time I stopped having removed the old one because the replacement did not have the connector for the electrics on it. I assumed I needed to remove it from the existing one and use that but could not see any way to remove it without it breaking.
About to buy a new replacement and again these dont have the connection.
What am I not understanding?

only 1 part listed on real oem (well a couple but they are superseded ones), and a quick scan on ebay pull up ones with the plug socket

Got a picture of the one you have?

I would change the water pump pulley too - it has a rubber friction material on it which degrades at 10+ years. Plus new belt.
Thats the plan, doing the crankshaft main seal as well as thats got a bit of a weep on it. Had a new waterpump and crossover pipe a few months ago. And a new aircon compressor and condenser... and... and... never ending list.Gassing Station | New MINIs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
