Help identifying badge

Afternoon All,

I've been sent a (very poor quality) image of a military badge and asked to identify what regiment it is.

It looks like the Royal Artillery, but the crown at the top is unlike any other that I've seen - a totally different shape. Could it denote a different monarch ?

I'm hoping that despite the low quality of the image, someone on here will be able to make a positive ID.

Looks like Royal Artillery with a Kings Crown to me, so pre 1953.
