Disc brake specs for 2017 D4 R-Design
Discussion
Hopefully someone can clarify this because it's not really clear from many parts sites.
My 2017 Volvo 2.0 R Design (D4) has factory 18 inch wheels and various websites that accept a reg/vin (including https://www.volvoparts.tmsmotorgroup.co.uk) are saying that this car comes with the 18 inch brake configuration which is a 345mm disc up front. Fitted to the car at the moment are 296mm discs.
The calipers and caliper bracket are both genuine Volvo parts but there is no evidence that the discs and pads are.
Should this car have the 345mm disc setup on the front or is the currently fit 296mm setup actually correct? The 296mm setup doesn't seem to be a thing on the V90 and instead is for the S60/V90?
Anyone got any insight?
