Haggling on a used Roma main dealer?

Seriously thinking of changing the V8 F Type (fantastic car) for a used Roma. Had lots of Maserati V8 's but never sratched the Fezza itch. Been keeping an eye on prices- horrendous depreciation for the first owners now quite affordable. They only sold 400 in the UK, currently 25% of these on sale in the UK. Many sit for months on dealer forecourts and prices keep coming down. Obviously very hard to shift second hand. Anyone know how Stratstone Ferriari will react if I make a cash offer on a car that has sitting on their forecourt for 6 months? It has already dropped 10k in that time......

id suggest driving one first. the engine is like a hoover compared to the f type

No idea how they'd react but I'd just go in there telling them that you want to do a deal but not at the advertised price and see if they're willing to move?

That’s weird I bought one March last year 22 days plate with 5k miles for £135k from Ferrari , prices seem not to have dropped at all for the same car , the cars with bigger miles are cheaper for sure .

I have made offers on 2 romas in the past month or so, neither (main) dealer was prepared to move by very much at all.

Should also say they wanted to buy the car back off me two months ago , but I am enjoying too much at the moment .

This. Be prepared for disappointment. Or rather a renewed appreciation for your motor. The Roma looks fantastic, unfortunately everything else about it is dog poop.

If you want to scratch the front engine Ferrari GT itch then a 599 or FF would be a better choice at less than Roma money. If you can stretch your budget then an F12 beckons...

A bit unfair to describe the Roma as above. I really liked it although I prefer the mid engined models. I found the Roma Spider to be a bit better sorted at the rear and therefore a bit less spiky than the coupe due to extra weight I suppose.

I would stretch to an F12 also if possible though.

Shrug, sorry but I loathed the one I drove for a cpl of weeks and 1000miles.
