Morning all

Has anyone else had this problem? Recently I've been finding it difficult to fully access listing pages. The page loads, but trying to open the full description or all the photographs does not respond, although the cursor changes from arrow to finger, some of other options/buttons such as "sell your car" do work. Reloading the pages has helped sometimes before, but does not seem to be working now. I've tried 3 different browsers on my PC and had the same problem (DuckDuckGo, Firefox & Edge). Is there a particular setting that needs to be set or something else? I contacted Car & Classic a few days ago, but haven't had a reply yet.

Just tested it and it does seem a little slow to load some images, but on the whole it seems that the site is working properly.

Do yopu have some form of internet security scanning software that could be slowing things down? Do you have your own DNS server or proxy?

It could be that your have peculiar settings like a slow DNS server. Try setting your DNS servers temporarily to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 whoich are owned by google. They aren't the fastest but they are solid and reliable, which your ISP's might not be. Also, if your computer is a laptop or has wifi, try sharing your phone's internet connection and connecting to that on yoour PC. Or take your computer to a friend's house and use their wifi. Does that improve matters?

Before you tear into your settings, it's worth figuring out whether it's something on your PC or whether it's your internet connection!

The PC is wired into the router, so should be the best connection. I've just tried it on my phone and it didn't work on Firefox, but did on the Samsung native browser. Unfortunately the pictures are a bit small for properly viewing auction listings.

Just tried it with the VPN disabled and it seems to work. Just a bit confused why one phone browser worked and the other didn't.

Wired into your router vs wifi isn't what I was getting at - the wifi connection can be strong, fast and stable but if your router is using s duff DNS server, or your ISP isn't very good, then it's still going to be problematic.

Yes I see your point, I was using wifi on the phone as well, via the same router
