Hello, would it be possible to add a start up video from cold to demonstrate the described high idle and hunting for the first 60 seconds?

What is meant by “Largely original, tidy engine bay”? Are all the original Alpina engine items present?
What make of battery is fitted?
What caused the damage to the driver’s door that required repainting?

Was this not sold on Collecting Cars recently? if so why up for sale again?

I own one of these in Alpina Blue, and I know two other local owners and their Roadsters well. These all sound like a bag of spanners on a cold start. I’ve never timed how long they take to settle into a normal idle, but if you view one and it idles smoothly immediately on start up it’s been warmed up before you got there.

Apologies on the delay in responding. I've spoken with the seller:

Yes all items are Alpina branded other than an aftermarket MAF sensor in the engine bay.

Battery is BMW branded.

Damage was caused by a scrape in a car park. Door was repaired by an insurance company to an average standard, seller notes that in certain light it is noticeable and if someone would want to make it look perfect would most likely want to address it.

The garage that the seller was using to keep his cars in has had planning permission approved and unfortunately no longer has space to store this and the other Z4 that we have just listed for him.

I owned 073 for 12 years so I’m quite familiar with the cold start procedure on the Roadster S. I’ve missed the car dearly since selling so it would be great to get into another one. Unfortunately, the request for a video has been ignored so I can only suspect that it might be something else.
