Has anyone here entered Philippines in the past 6 months or so as a tourist? I see online that 'officially' their E Travel permit is still in place and requests tourists to fill it in 72 hrs before arrival.

I last went in 2023, shortly after the pandemic and they had this E Permit in place for faux health reasons, i got a permit and the airport staff in Philippines didn't glance at it from memory. Just wondering about the situation in the airports now.

Most countries seem to have introduced a digital arrival card since Covid. Even for returning citizens/passport holders in some countries (eg NZ).

Gotta come up with any reason possible to capture that digital data..!

Just to round this out for those searching in years to come, yes, there is an online form to fill in and it is unavoidable. I was under the impression it might be casual and one of those things that goes unchecked in Asia....it's not.
