This was seemingly a “common” issue particularly on earlier cars - there is a long thread on Rennlist. There was at least one person in the UK who rejected his car because it couldn’t be resolved I think.

I’ve never seen any specific resolution identified or posted and not seen it raised as an issue lately. I’m always very careful when I erect or dismantle the roof and stow it according to the instructions - I’ve not had the warning.

Could be the same person I know then.

Porsche simply could not get the problem resolved, even when Porsche UK eventually got involved (after having to contact the CEO direct).
