Hello,

I have a 1993 Chimaera 4.3. I have just got into rovergauge so I can check all is working as it should. It’s overfuelling I believe for some reason which I need to investigate, but what I want to know is why the “idle mode” light doesn’t come on and let the ecu start trying to alter the idle. Should this light (on the rovergauge screen) light up green when it’s trying to idle the engine rpm?

Think it goes green when the correct rpm is met ie 950 but yours can't get there for some reason.
I would check for vacuum leaks or incorrectly set base idle first.
Maf ideally needs to be around 32 to 35%, yours is a bit high but I would do the above first.
