Agreed. I wasn’t aware of it until I listened to the (excellent) Swindled podcast episode last year.

The amount is crazy but completely justified in this case.

It's the Ebay employees going along with it that blows my mind.

I presume anyone junior is going to be hungry and pliable anyway, but I'd want a nice powerpoint presentation as to why I should bombard some nobody I've never heard of with porn and creepy crawlies before doing it.

What a bizarre and unpleasant story, I can’t imagine what those involved at eBay were thinking.

Many years ago but didn't BA go nasty on Virgin and their customers.
