Driver kills his second cyclist

There is CCTV footage of it online; hit the cyclist at high speed, stood no chance, tough watch.

Another interesting part is that it appears to be the same person who killed a cyclist at crazy speed in 2014

30 years inside, plus never driving again? Although it seems like the kind of person to whom a driving ban wouldn't matter.

Here is a fact. The vast majority of close calls I have had whilst cycling have been ignorant, incompetent and completely unaware of the rules of the road drivers. Incidentally, they have also been white, though I'm not sure how race is at all relevant.

There are close calls and there's driving a car to the edge of it or the driver's limits within the confines of London's streets.
Here is a fact.
The great majority of drivers in London I see doing that (which is frequently) appear to be what people would often refer to as being of ethnic origin. I may well be rascist for all I know, or... there may be other pertinent factors, but my eyes see what my eyes see.
And that's a fact.

The video is pretty clear-cut to me, murder seems a reasonable starting point - especially with the drivers history.

The way the cyclist was positioned and going so slowly, he looked to be trying to “make a point” to the driver to slow down… not factoring in what a total mentalist the driver was. Driver held back, then went full gas to ram him / take him out in a moment of retribution.

Given the driver’s history I’ll bet he was previously driving like an idiot, way too fast on the streets. The cyclist saw him coming earlier up the road and got in his way, forcing him to slow down and this played out….

Making a reasonable point to an unreasonable person can sometimes come with horrific consequences.

Ages match. 22 in first death. 33 now.

Needs long jail sentence and life driving ban.

First death was a 4 year sentence and 5 year ban. anything less than a longer sentence and life ban with be a slap on the wrist. He was doing 71mph in a 30.
