M2 or 997 turbo
Discussion
I started looking at M2 I think they look awesome in every way, I took a Toronto red out last week and what a fantastic car. Much more than I expected.
The thing is I would have to sell my 997 turbo manual.
My car is quite good at holding its value, where do you think a 2024 M2 value will be at in say two to three years from now.

The easiest way to get an idea of that is to go onto the BMW Approved Used site, pick out a car that fits the bill then go onto the finance calculator and see what the optional final payment is at the end of a PCP deal, that's generally what BMW think the car will be worth. You can adjust it for the length of time you plan to keep the car and your annual mileage. Personally I'd go for the M2, but that's mainly because I'm risk averse and for the price of a 15 year old manual 997 turbo I could probably get an 18 month old M2 with plenty warranty left.
I guess that probably defies any logic because the M2 will lose thousands in value before the warranty expires and the 997 likely won't lose a penny.
