Many cars have BLIS - Blind Spot Information Systems.
So how about BLIS+? The car can see you are in Lane 2,3,4,5 etc. It detects nothing in the blind spot for x seconds, so up pops a message telling you to consider moving over. You ignore it and an annoying bong accompanies the next message, getting louder each time and with a more aggressive message.
You ignore that and continue middle lane hogging for miles and the stereo turns on at max volume playing Agadoo until you stop lane hogging.

Good shout.
I had the utter misery if the M5 / M6 motorways last week, all four lanes of Smart... which is a shame as a lot of the users aren't exactly smart and still seem to think being spaced out doing 60mph or less in lanes 2 and 3 is acceptable.
It's actually hard work sitting at 75mph in lane 4 as these types then force cars travelling at 65mph to overtake using 4 and do the whole stretch just slows up... despite four lanes and sparse traffic.
I found sat 66mph in lane 1 was actually less stressful, though undertaking cars travelling in lanes 2 and 3... and even 4 only highlighted the issue. And again I hasten to add, the roads weren't busy.
Return left after overtaking... it's not that difficult to grasp
