Does anyone on here have experience of this?

(Its a a Wizz Air thing where you pay 500ish Euro, then can fly for £10ish, but you can only book certain flights, no more than 36 hours in advance)

I would suggest extreme caution, the CAA had to get involved with them refusing flight delay compo, losing thousands of small claims cases, and still not paying.

Tbh I have used them many times, they are fine, usually super low cost. Just trying to get a handle on how the All You Can Fly thing works in practice.

I have never in 50+ years of travelling flew with a worse airline.

Flown a few times with them - never had a problem.

Went to fly with them once, they cancelled the flight as we got to the airport (plane/crew issue) and then refused all contact. Getting compensation was a massive pain in the backside, had to claim back on the CC for a flight refund too

Lol you have never flown biman air I take it.

I use them for 2 or 3 hour trips for weekends away. They are dirt cheap and I know what I am getting, they like a bus in the sky. So long as I get true in one piece and vaguely on time that’s good enough.

The idea of on a Thursday deciding want to go away let’s see where I can go for a tenner, oh some small city I have never heard of in Romania, cool why not. What concerns me is how to get back lol can returns be booked.

You'd have to fly a lot to make it worthwhile though.

We use them about 8 times a year (always to the same destination) and flights booked in advance after often only £10-30 unless it's something like Christmas. So a £10 flight you've paid ~500 Eu to get doesn't seem the best deal.

The spontaneous booking idea sounds appealing but if you were a bit less spontaneous you could probably book those same flights for similar money a few months earlier - and keep the 500 EU.
