copying VTS files to DVD

As the regulars on here are well aware, my computer knowledge is 'not much' so bending the knee for some info
My previous laptop had a CD unit , so transferring files was a painless job
The new one doesn't!! I have purchased a USCVIS one which is a plug and play, and also got a big upgrade from my old studio 10 to studio 26 ( as i now have a digital camcorder)
What an eye opener it really is rocket science lol But when i go to import the files and click on the file on the C drive it tells me no files exist which are shown as
How can i
1) get the Studio prog to recognise the fpllowing..... file name is VTS_01_1 and is type VOB Video file (VIC)
and 2) as i also have _2 and _3 the easiest way of stitching them together ,,as i said Studio 10 was easy, i daresay 26 is just as easy once i get the hang of it.just need a kick start
