So after several years of procrastination, ummmmming and ahhhing and little little jobs, Frankenduc is finally getting fitted for her party frock. Bodywork is pukka Italian carbon from the original MS Production people and is surprisingly good fitting. Few little details like trimming the airtubes at the entrance as they re pushing the nose fairing forward just a tad too much and left side and belly pan to go. All in all, happy with the progress and need to begin thinking about what paint scheme to go with ..

What's wrong with au naturel? No point hiding all that lovely carbon weave.

Never been a fan of excessive CF or all black bikes.....
As it's a working bike, I know any paint scheme is going to live a tough life but I want ot keep it the original Ducati red with a design (I'm doing my 998 in a yellow) . And as the tank is a lightweight kevlar item not CF, it will need painting as it's looking very war torn.....
