Octopus integration with Hypervolt

Hi,
I am new to this forum so please forgive me if I am going back over old ground.
I have recently taken delivery of a Audi Q5 Hybrid and cannot get the Octopus App to integrate with the Hypervolt app (Pro 3). TBH, Octopus support has been poor.
I think I have tried everything, but unless I'm missing something being new to EV, there is something technically wrong with the Octopus app.
The car has charged but I don't think the charger has used the Smart tariff (£3.58 for 24 KW) and I cannot see any integration to Octopus anywhere in the Hypervolt app.
Octopus has sent me these instructions 3 times. I have removed both apps and reinstalled to no avail.
1 Open the Octopus Energy app and go to the ‘Devices’ tab.
2Tap ‘Add device’ and select ‘Electric vehicle’.
3 Make sure your EV is plugged in at home but not charging.
4 Select your EV make and model.
5 From the dropdown menu, choose ‘Hypervolt’ and then your specific charger model.
6 Agree to the terms and conditions.
7 Sign in to your Hypervolt account when prompted.
8 Select the charger you want to link and tap ‘Continue’.
I never get to the 7th option to connect the HV app, even though the Octopus shows the car in Device.
Has anybody else had the same issue and if so, please can you share the solution.

I ve had something similar with my BMW i3. When I first got the charger installed, the installer set it all up and Octopus managed the charging through the Hypervolt.
We had an internet outage one afternoon when I needed to add a bit of charge so I connected the Hypervolt to my phone s hotspot, all fine. When connecting back to the router I appear to have the same experience as you, the link between the Octopus app and Hypervolt was lost. When I plugged the car in it started charging immediately, it took a while before octopus took control of the charging via the car.
I contacted Octopus but noone there seemed capable of resolving the issue. I contacted Hypervolt and they said this ..
“ Octopus made changes to the integration, where if you have a compatible EV, they will only initially give you the option to go with this. So, to get the option back to integrate your charger, you will need to speak to Octopus sadly as we have no control over their app. They should be able to re-introduce this as an option on the Octopus app, but you need to call and ask them to change your campaign so that you can integrate your Hypervolt rather than your EV. “
I kept pushing Octopus quoting the above and they eventually managed to do something at their end to reconnect the Hypervolt app to the Octopus one.
