Do animals get food allergies?

Humans can be allergic to nuts, or dairy, or whatever, but we're lucky because we can eat lots of different types of food, so you can avoid what you're allergic to.

Do animals get food allergies? What if you're a squirrel who's allergic to nuts? Or a baby mammal that can't handle milk? Would be a bit difficult!

You'll die and decrease the surplus population

I think they do, our dog can be funny to some stuff which I know other dogs aren't, a bit of boiled egg makes her....runny

I do see some dogs are on grain free diets in some groups I am a member of.

I'm not sure exactly what causes a diarrhoea bomb through my hound, but I know that gravy contains it.

She's very settled on a hypoallergenic diet, and seems to love the taste. We just have to be careful with treats. 100% dry meat seems to work.
