G87 M2 is it a keeper or..

I'm mulling over purchasing the G87 M2 as I want something "special", with a view to keeping it.

If it’s weekend car, I would be looking at an F or G series CS. The weight, screens, and torque-converter gearbox don’t strike me as things that will age well vs other cars in that space.
