2017 Cayenne s e hybrid - Porsche warranty query

My cayenne is with Porsche now, 1 month after extending it’s Warranty from Porsche, with an EML but driving normally
“INV EML - Carried out Pre VAL and found faults P049100 - Air injection system, bank 1 – insufficient flowP049200 - Air injection system, bank 2 – malfunction stored. Carried out guided fault finding and found secondary air injection system clean required followed by a re test - This is the first step in order to rectify the issue”
A quick AI search and read of the teas and seas of the Warranty would imply to me that it should be covered but the “agent” is telling me that cleaning is not covered as it is not a “manufacturing defect”.
Taking it further with Porsche tomorrow but wonder if there was any similar experience on here with similar PHEV cayennes (and maybe Panamera if they share the engine?) I think it’s the same engine as Audi S4 with the hybrid as well
