theap.Secondly, we’ve done our due diligence. The van is genuinely screen-used, with call sheets and video evidence to support its provenance, and it’s being sold by someone who actually worked on the film. Any genuine fan of the franchise and characters familiar with the production would recognise this as the real van straight away.
As for why we don’t name the film or use its characters in the listing, that’s simply due to copyright and licensing restrictions — not a lack of evidence. The documentation and proof are there for serious buyers to inspect.

Thank you for your comment.As previously mentioned above we have undertaken all necessary due diligence to ensure this is the actual screen used vehicle. The seller has a relationship with the studios and we will honour the legal standpoints laid out by the studio.
You may also see that bidders have clearly worked out what the film is, there is only one current Comic book Superhero film at the Cinema, and if you were to see the film you would see this actual van clear as day.
I have reached out to you separately and directly ref your comment about valuations. This is not relatable and unfair to this particular auction as the van is NO reserve and will sell to the highest bidder.

Even if you haven't seen the film, 5 seconds of googling brings up hundreds of images of the van on the set.
The name of the character is posted up above by ClaH14.
Who is going to go to the trouble of making an exact replica of a filmset van to try to pass it off as the actual van.
Just goes to show that conspiracy nutters are everywhere these days.

The NDA only applies to myself not the future sale of the vehicle.
As for the Nova. The production didn’t foresee the vehicle being sold on. Hence one was never applied for.
If the vehicle was to be transported out the country then returned a nova could be applied for then.

I don't think I'm the only one who sees a screen-used vehicle with appropriate provenance as a different value proposition from "used in a movie but I can't tell you which one for legal reasons".
