Small Polisher.

I am looking to buy a small polisher. I don’t like the larger polishers and I think having one that’s also battery powered would be great. Any suggestions on which to buy and polish/pads.

I have just watched a review on you tube on Batoca polishers and they look ok for the money.
I fancy a small version myself.

DAS-6 Nano is my choice. Or the ShineMate EB range

I was looking at a DAS 6 Nano too, not bought one yet as I can t tell if they re really any better than the myriad of other much cheaper ones available. There are plenty on Amazon for well under half the price.

I ve got a full size DAS 6 polisher which works well, and I ve also bought a very cheap Amazon battery-powered one before that was absolute rubbish - it didn t have anywhere near enough power.

Has anyone tried a cheaper mini polisher to confirm it was also rubbish, or otherwise, and therefore whether it s worth paying £200 for the Nano? I’ll have a look at the Batoca ones mentioned above (thank you).

I use the Milwaukee sander/polisher professionally on a daily basis and cant fault it, but I use Milwaukee tools so already have dozens of batteries. A 2ah battery lasts a day on it denibbing and polishing paintwork in small areas where the full size machine isn't needed.

It is technically a rotary so you need to be gentle on edges.

I also have one of the nano type kits, not the DA6 nano, but an almost identical type of Chinese kit, and to be honest I simply never get it out, I find between the full size Rupes that I uses, and the smaller Milwaukee its got everything other than the tiniest of areas covered.
