Virtual landlines/geographic number service recommendations

Hi,

I'm looking for a virtual landline provider for my business with either diversion to mobile or a VOIP application.

I wish to be able to transfer the number to another provider if necessary so I don't get locked into a single provider.

Any suggestions and experiences please? Ideally I'd like to transfer my existing number but looks like BT won't let me.

Last time I checked you could port a BT number

I ported a BT number to Dial9 (recommended on here - might even be a PHer?), could port again if needed. I also use Twilio for similar.

We use air land line to divert ours to two/three mobile phones. Been a faultless system for us for the past 5 years and is easily configurable to change the divert for holidays etc.

They do also have an app where you can call out on your mobile and the recipient sees the landline number.
