I'm a very "casual" birder as I inherited a bit of an interest from my late Dad who was a fanatic. When I walk in Kent, a buzzard, kite or marsh harrier are my favourite birds to see.

I missed this. Echo all of the above, and will make a point of watching it on catchup. Lucky enough to live on the edge of a nature reserve, and directly on the water. Never been a twitcher as such, but as I get older, I much prefer the company of things that can t talk. We started a list when we moved in 7 years ago, the rules being they have to have been spotted either from, or in the house. We re up to about 70 now. Raptors are by far my favourites, except maybe the family of crows who have adopted us. Enough of the waffle. Out.

Echo all of the above. Stuff like this is what the BBC does the best - as said the visuals were stunning and Hamza is a very likeable chap, you could see he was absolutely loving his work. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
