Locked Out of my L322 Vogue

Forgive me if this has been asked before.

I'm locked out of my Vogue, both my regular and spare key fob won't work. the car was last driven, not by me, about a week ago and I suspect it is something simple such as an interior light left on that has flattened the car battery.

On-line tutorials show the key spade being used to release the small section of the handle cover via a slot underneath, I have no such slot nor do i have a key symbol on the handle.

How do I get in?

I have managed to get in, it turned it that it was the near-side handle with the manual lock, the car is parked with the near-side tight to a very large yew hedge!!
