Rear view helmet mirror
Discussion
I've got a planet x road bike, I use a bar end mirror on it, it's ok but it moves a lot even tightened, it's not that big.
I'm not going to get radar as I don't think I'd use it much, currently out once or twice a week up to 6 miles or so
I've seen advertised but not in the flesh a helmet mounted mirror, thinking this may be a good middle ground between bar end and radar
Anyone use one?

Try a better bar end mirror. I use this £6.99 one on my flat bar bikes. Great adjustment. Good clear view. Rarely moves.

Cheap enough it's no loss if you drop the bike and break it.
Some mirror/bar combinations I have had to wrap a turn or two of inner tube round the prong before insterting into the bar to get a really secure fit.

Thanks, I've got drop bars so I'm not sure it would fit, good excuse to visit decathlon though https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/100-bike-rear-view-m...

You can get small ones designed for drop bars, they work well.

As suggested one that fits in the bar end worth trying.https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/accessories/sprintech-...
My drop bar bike has bar end shifters. I use a mirror which clamps onto the brake hood. Great rear view. No longer in production though and probably wouldn't work with brifters anyway.
