Pensions Dashboards have been talked about by Government for ages now and have been beset by various delays and complications.

https://www.pensionsdashboardsprogramme.org.uk/

However, you can now try the Beta service. I gave it a go earlier and it pulled through all my active and deferred schemes, which was a nice surprise.

Anything to help people track down old pensions they have forgotten about has to be a useful addition.

How does it show Defined Benefit pensions ? Does it show the monthly/yearly forecast amount or a total monetary amount ?

For my sole DB pension, it seems to be pulling through an old estimate from 2025 from the trustee WTW and gives both an annual and monthly estimate of gross income before commutation for tax free cash.

I have a more accurate estimate already from the trustees, but at least it’s a start with the beta.

I can see this being very useful for people who have also made AVCs in the past and forgotten about them

It also seems to pull through actual plan numbers from the providers, making it easy to then send away requests for more info, change of addresses, letters of authority, etc

Thanks for posting this, I was hoping for a forgotten pension but no such luck.

It's missing a tiny DB pension but that may well fall under the 100 member rule, other than that, very useful.

Registered. Absolutely fantastic. No surprise pensions for me but great to see a GOV page with them all on. Five for me.

The data does seem a little off and date from March 25 but of course factor in this is just a beta. seeing all the information is fantastic and will be a big help to those that can be bothered to register. It need Martin Lewis to get on it!

Thanks for pointing me to this, very interesting.

For me, I know how many pensions I have and as of last month their value [via all the providers relevant apps] but i forgot about what i had set as my retirement age for each of them, which was good to know

Thanks for sharing the link. I’ve just registered and was a simple process. Four pensions for me which is correct though the details for one DB scheme is missing but will be there within 10 days apparently. Great to see everything on one page.

Yes went through it quickly - pretty much matches the Excel sheet I have for my 4 plus SP. I have not delved enough to understand where the expected annual incomes from DC pensions comes from - is it providers projections, or assuming an annuity at an average rate?

Yes biggrin It's both I think. The dashboard itself is a very thin wrapper around the raw data returned from each provider. The 'Estimated Retirement Income' in that data will be calculated according to Statutory Money Purchase Illustration rules. They assume purchase of a lifetime annuity at the retirement age shown.

Massively out of date for me too. But it found my SIPP and current workplace pension which is all I believe I have.

Are the predictions extremely conservative? An estimated 3% apr/ 50% over 16years seems weak.

Anyone else faced with an error after putting in your NI number? Was hoping this would help trace details of my previous pension.

Thanks for sharing this, most interesting. I was actually looking to find out about my NHS pension, but it seems the NHS records aren't shared (yet or never? who knows as the NHS is a bureaucratic beast).

it did however find my workplace, SIPP, and state pensions. And somewhat bizarrely, something with Plumbing Pensions UK that was a partial match. No idea on that one as I don't recall ever being a plumber!

Use this official government website:

https://www.gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details

Do not use any other--they are all unofficial and require a fee.
