The Shooting of HeeHaw the baby donkey.
Discussion
Scary things those baby donkeys according to US police.
So threatening, in fact, that an officer had to shoot one.
One saving grace is the quality and quantity of expressed outrage, abuse and threat generated by the subsequent Internet pile-on.
The next officer tempted to shoot a donkey may well think twice now.

Wait, so of all the American shootings that occur by the minute... A donkey is the concern?
It is possible to have lots of problems running concurrently. All are deserving of discussion.
Once you consider the intelligence limitations of many members of the US police you can form an opinion that in many cases they escalate a situation way over and above what was required.
They are making it worse for everyone, white, black, dog, donkey.
I'd be terrified of looking more threatening than a baby donkey right now in that part of the US! Looks like the police need more regular mental health reviews if one judgement error can result in a death. Didn't they shoot an unarmed black woman not so long ago? "It wasn't the same part of the country!" "I don't give a s
t."

I think the universal inoffensive nature of this particular shooting victim kind of allows everyone to get angry in a way the racist element of the American public wouldn't be triggered by the shooting of, say, an innocent black driver getting his documents out of his glove box or a deaf man failing to comply with verbal instructions.I am flabbergasted at a hard core element of the American public (sad to say I am related to some of them) who's support of and sympathy for police officers regardless of their actions is absolute.
This is one case where said support and sympathy is very difficult to justify.

The lady waving around knives in public after stabbing two people killing one & tasers didn't take her down due to her size so you shot her when she approached brandishing the knives I can understand the genuine threat posed.

There are so many layers of policing in the US that it has to be expected that the quality of some officers leaves a lot to be desired. I've watched lots of US crime investigation series on You Tube, Netflix etc and I am always rather surprised by the sheer incompetence of some policemen and policewomen in the US.

Incompetent idiots to put it mildly.

They shoot unarmed people almost every day.
