I’m on holiday from tomorrow in Singapore, and will have no way of setting up the Spanish GP thread next week- so here it is a week early, you lucky things biggrin. This thread can just sit here until needed.

It’s our first time at the Madring of course, and the main question seems to be will it be ready? The circuit looks pretty ho-hum on paper, but it should be a good fit with the current power units. It looks like it should favour McLaren and Ferrari more than Mercedes, but who knows.

I’ve voted for Norris again- hopefully to make it 4 on the bounce after Monza.

Here’s to a great race.

Thanks. I cant see this being a good race at all. No overtaking. The F3 drivers struggled. Another Valencia??

Wonder why we cant have a 2nd British race..

Following Ferrari's brilliant and unexpected 1, 2 at Monza, I wonder if they can do it again in Spain?

Sadly, not after the two post race penalties.

FIA F3 did an in-season test there a couple of weeks ago. The highlight seemed to be a large number of red flags for various incidents and accidents.

Video of the session, let’s just say it’s tight in places around this new circuit.

That looks st. It hardly shows off the city of Madrid, being based around an industrial estate next to the airport, and going under a motorway twice. Liberty really like racing through motorway underpasses for some reason.
