Had my GR gen 1 around a month now which has fairly new brakes all round .

Took it to my local trusted garage that I've used for many cars over the years who have just said the brakes are fine it's just the characteristics of the car.

I mentioned cooper grease but they said it was still present.

Finding it a little annoying now .

Any ideas ?

New brakes = new discs and pads or just new pads?
The newish brake pad / disc combo can squeak a bit when they heat up - it calms down after a while.
The pads create a fair bit of dust as well and that could be doing it.

Pads and disks all round .

Further reading seems to suggest it's a common issue that most just accept and live with.

Car will be serviced in another month so will see if the Toyota garage have a work around

Mine squealed for a small while. It went away. I didn't think it was too bad, it sounds like there's some fancy racing car brakes when it squeals hehe

Mine did this, lived with it till the discs needed replacement then it still did it, after some looking around had my local garage use this stuff Liqui Moly Anti Squeal and it was sorted..
