Chimaera 1993 Brake and Clutch Master Replace ?

Hi everyone just wanted some opinions on this.
1993 Chimaera which was my late fathers and not run since 2017.
Car garaged and am working through the issues.
Both brake and clutch pedals have misting and there is a slight weep on one of the unions.
Pedal pressure is fine for both and I will obviously change fluid and check full system.
Is this a straight replace for both ?
And if so can I remove the pedal box without steering column or is that making the job worse ?
