Surprised no thread on this yet. Comes out in Early Access later this week. I played the beta on Saturday and had a blast.

Will try to summarise:
100 players in 3 teams
King of the Hill style. Most players in the circle gains a point. First team to 100 points wins
There is a moving hot zone where players inside are worth double points
Every action earns cash which is used to buy load outs, vehicles, supplies etc. Cash stays with you between games (you are a mercenary). It’s a clever design as it incentivises staying in the game when you are down rather than respawning and having to buy more gear. Can also give money to team mates as tips for help or bribes for making a dangerous move to revive you.
Can take control of towers and create FOBs to help control the zone.
Progression path to unlock more gear over time, balanced by needing to spend cash to buy it
Local voice chat is enabled which lends itself to some great moments

Gameplay sits somewhere between Battlefield and Arma. Tactical play is rewarded but games don’t take hours. If you have to leave a game early all your cash will be there for the next game you join.

I think it has the opportunity to be a big hit. Makes a move away from BR and extraction shooters and removes the problems with games like Arma. Early Access so still lots of work to do and progress will be wiped periodically. But the beta played extremely well, barely a couple of stutters, connection was stable, no latency to speak of. It’ll be my Saturday night game for the forseeable I think.
