Am I missing something that makes it worth that much?

I am normally quite good at reading what a plate is trying to say but I am lost on this one and the advertised price?

Surely if you have to be told what it could possibly read it cannot be worth much, if anything.

Sold by DVLA 2 years ago exactly for £3,000.

CRA 16S went for a lot more, more than twenty years ago;

That one I get….Craigs…I can understand the value would be seen by some people called Craig.

I have a plate on retention that came on a car I bought, it is one digit out from the one that Gordon Murray has on his Escort that he had built, I recently asked him if he wanted it for free to go on a car in his collection as it might look nice when parked side by side…he just said “no thanks, not really in to number plates”. Some people don’t see a value at all or are actively against them.
