Travel insurance for 17yr old?

I need to buy some travel insurance for my daughter who will be going to Croatia for four days. I’ve just tried to do a quote with Post Office but as she’s not 18yrs old they won’t quote. Any ideas who best to try? She’s 17yrs old and going with a friend and his family.

Are you a powerfully built PH director? If so your business travel likely covers this.

Do you get travel with the bank? If so, does it extend to family?

I'm well out of practice in respect of consumer insurance but I think you'll have to buy it for her as she is under 18.

If you have family travel insurance they may well be covered on that

Thanks. I have travel insurance with HSBC Premier but I think it only covers us a family, not sure about just my daughter if she’s on her own.

I think some travel insurances are cheap as they expect you to cover what you can on the GHIC,

The friend's family could include her on their policy. Our daughter did this when she took her niece on holiday (I don't think being related made any difference).
