some information to process your transfer out request
You recently requested to transfer your Nest pension pot to another pension scheme. Before we can start your request, we need some more information from you.
We've received a request to transfer your Nest pension pot to PeoplesPartnership. But before we do, we'd like to confirm you've requested this. If you want to cancel the transfer or choose another retirement option, you can do it online by visiting your online account on the nestpensions.org.uk website and click on Take your money out or you can call us on 0300 020 0090.
If we don't hear from you within 10 working days, we'll process the transfer request. We'll then close your Nest account, and you'll have limited access to it for 90 days after we've processed the payment. Once we've closed your account, you won't be able to access your account or any of your documents.
If we receive any contributions after this, we'll transfer them to your other pension scheme. We may also contact you if we need any further information.

Dealing with pension scams
Anyone can be a victim of a pension scam. It's important that you can spot, avoid, and report pension scams when they happen. Here are some simple steps you can take to protect yourself:
· Reject unexpected pension offers, whether made online, on social media, or over the phone. If you get a cold call about your pension, hang up - it's most likely illegal or a scam—and report it to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) www.ico.org.uk/concerns.
· Make sure you're taking the right steps to stay scam safe by reading the Pension Scams Action Group's guide at https://www.thepensionsregulator.gov.uk/media/0tcl... _leaflet_screen.pdf.
· Check whom you're dealing with before changing your pension arrangements. This will ensure that anyone offering you advice or other financial services is FCA-approved. Check the FCA Register fca.org.uk/scamsmart/how-avoid-pension-scams or call the FCA helpline on 0800 111 6768.
· Don't be rushed or pressured into making decisions about your pension.
· Consider getting impartial information and/or advice from a financial advisor.
Visit The Pensions Regulator website at https://www.thepensionsregulator.gov.uk/en/pension... or the FCA scam smart website to learn more. And if you're a victim of a scam, report it to Action Fraud www.actionfraud.police.uk or call them 0300 123 2040.
