As soon as the Civil divorce came through in June 2026, the ex had an islamic marriage within weeks. I only found out after the divorce.

She did not declare the relationship on her Form E which she is legally required to.

Furthermore it works out she married a work colleague. Both are teachers. He was flirting with her during my marriage which has been confirmed by students, and teachers.

I have two of her possessions my place. A piano and bike. She will collect both.

Her husband supposedly is a major flirt, formerly addicted to porn, his kids dont want to live with him as they dont like him or my ex.

She has moved in with her husband. I am now forced to sell my home. My son will now stay with me which was not understood during the divorce.

The cow lied, cheated and now is playing the victim.

I have know her husband for 30 plus years.

He was a year below me at school. We socialised in the same circle of friends and played cricket together.

He flirts with the school girls too. Loves the attention and always has even at school.

He was flirting and harassing other teachers long before my ex joined the school. I tracked down the teachers amd spoke to them and their husbands.

My concern is I have a daughter who is 12 years old. This guy has a thing for girls based on what the students, parents and teachers have told me.

I do not know how she is a victim. She did claim domestic abuse in the divorce to avoid the negotiations stage, but had no evidence. Please see the screenshot of a message from her when I served her the Islamic divorce back in Jan '25.

She earnt her own money, kept it, i paid the bills. Never laid a finger on her. We had argument but never anything major.

She was having anger management therapy and was on pills for her emotional issues.

She is a compulsive liar. My kids see it.. especially my son who knows what his mum is like.

I am so pissed at getting played in court

What advice would you give to me. What would you do?

Calm down and don’t make rash decisions or make comments that you could regret later.

How is she playing the victim? Is there more to this? (usually is)

Advise wise - I would say its bound to feel painful now, but as long as no kids involved you move on and not spread rumours about someone you dont know.

How would anyone know the other man has certain addictions especially such personal ones?

Posting in the right forum for a start!

Ask the mods to move it to SP&L where you’ll get a better response.

I'd concentrate on making sure my son & I had a nice place to call home & I'd get on with our lives.

Any energy wasted on her means you're not looking after your interests.

There's nothing wrong with being upset pissed off etc but at some point you have to do YOU.

Living your life will bother her more than you bringing up her behaviour & letting her see how hurt you are.

I hope you find peace & are able to move forward & enjoy your life with your son.

To settle the divorce. She wants her money out.

As hard as it might sound I would look at the silver lining that you could have spent the rest of your life with someone who was not actually in the relationship and just stringing you along. Worse, having an actual relationship with someone behind your back.

Try and move on, and don't rise to any of her stuff - its all bait to make you look bad.

If she never paid for anything where did that money go? That's part of the marital estate.

If you want advice. Get this post removed. If you want to pursue stuff in a legal way you have compromised yourself posting this much detail.

Move on. It obviously stings that she wanted this other dude more than you, but there are plenty of other women out there.

Who paid the mortgage and what percentage are you receiving from the sale?

From my own experience of this kind of thing. As tough as it is, you'll be glad you got out when you did, rather than the situation continuing on any further.

Even though it had already got pretty far in to your "life".

She sent you that message (seemingly crafted by AI), after you'd filed for divorce? Bit of a strange message if so

Sounds like your Ex and the new guy deserve each other, and you've still got your life ahead of you, your son and hopefully your daughter will want to stay as well.

You deserve better, you will find someone better and don't let this incident reflect upon you, it's entirely on them. Sometimes people are just selfish and I read an analogy here once that women are like chimpanzees in the jungle, they won't let go of one branch until they've got a firm grip on another.

The kids here are the priority, shielding them from the damage as much as possible.

Move on with your life, take some time for yourself and lick your wounds, but just remember that none of this is your fault, if she's remarried within a few weeks, that in itself speaks volumes.

I also echo the post from @cliffords - if you're going legal bin this topic off because it might create an issue, although I'm in no way legally qualified.

Firstly take a breather and sleep on it before you do anything. You'll always be clearer the following day, even if you're still angry.

Secondly, the divorce is done. Anyone who is aware of the divorce will be surprised she has gone and re-married so quickly and I'm sure they know this chaps reputation. In other words, you don't have anything to prove to anyone as it's clear how your ex has played things. It's a good thing you're son is with you full time by the sounds of it, is your daughter in the same situation?

As for the house, sounds like that was going to be sold regardless of whether she re-marries. A bitter pill to swallow certainly but once it's done, onwards and upwards OP.
