Who is history's greatest Admiral or Naval Commander?

In the "Greatest Army General" topic the obvious candidates were from ancient history, and mostly from overseas, but if we talk about the maritime world, I have a feeling we are going to bring it a lot closer to home.
In my view it has to be Drake.
